Kanban for Teams and Private Space for You

There are many tools that let you set up a Kanban view for your team. However, for most doers, it’s essential to have a separate space to view their own tasks — a place where they can sort and prioritize their tasks in any way they like and gain a clear understanding of what needs to be done.

Ping offers a private view for your personal tasks and allows you to create Groups, enabling team members to see each other’s tasks and collaborate on them easily.

Create a space for your team

If you work in a team and want tasks to be transparent and easily visible to everyone, all you need to do is create a Group and add your team members to it.

A Group is presented as a Kanban board, where you can add new tasks, create custom columns to match your workflow, and move tasks between them. You can also filter the Kanban view by group members and projects to stay organized and focused.

When you add a task in a Group, you can:

  • Delegate it to someone – The assigned person will receive a notification and see the task also in their Private View.

  • Take the task yourself – The task will appear also in your Private View.

  • Leave it unassigned – Anyone in the group can pick it up!

All tasks assigned to you are visible both in the Group and in your Private View. This way, you have all your assignments in one place, giving you a clearer understanding of your work.

In your Private Space, you can organize your tasks into four tabs:

  • Today

  • Tomorrow

  • This Week

  • Later

Your Private Space is completely confidential — no one else can see how you’ve sorted your tasks.
